Dental Implants
Dental implants are highly regarded in the field of dentistry as a successful solution for replacing missing teeth. This advanced technique involves the surgical placement of a small titanium post into the jawbone, which then integrates with the bone over time to create a durable and reliable foundation. This innovative procedure, commonly known as dental implantation, allows for the restoration of one or more missing teeth through the use of prosthetics that are securely attached to the implanted posts. This results in a natural-looking and functional replacement that can greatly enhance the patient's ability to speak, chew, and smile with confidence.

Pre-Treatment Virtual Consultation
During this appointment, it is required to have your Tomography to help determine the viability of the treatment by our Specialist. If you don't have it, the appointment will be rescheduled until you obtain your Tomography. Alternatively, our dental center can also offer this service upon your arrival in the city.
Appointment 1:
General Assessment with Specialist
During the initial appointment, our Specialist will conduct a thorough evaluation of the patient's oral health. In the absence of a previous Tomography, our Dentist will issue an order to have the study conducted. Subsequently, the need for a dental implant will be validated, or viable alternatives will be presented according to the patient's oral health needs.
Appointment 2:
Impression for Implant Guide
Once the decision is made to proceed with a dental implant, an impression will be taken to fabricate a surgical guide that will assist the dentist during the implant placement procedure.
Appointment 3:
Implant Placement
The dental implant(s) will be surgically placed in the jaw or maxilla by our qualified specialist. The implant(s) will serve as a foundation for the subsequent placement of a crown or fixed prosthesis.
6-Month Healing Period
Typically, a healing period of approximately 6 months is required to allow the dental implant to integrate and adhere to the jaw or maxilla.
Appointment 4:
Healing Cap Placement
After the healing period, a healing cap will be placed on the dental implant to promote proper healing of the gum tissue and prepare it for the final crown placement.
Appointment 5:
Abutment Placement
An abutment or pillar is placed on the dental implant, which will serve as support for the crown. An impression is also taken to design a custom zirconia crown that matches the patient's natural teeth in shape, size, and color. The impression will be sent to our laboratory for the fabrication of the zirconia crown, which may take approximately 1 day.
Appointment 6:
Crown Placement
Once the crown is fabricated, it will be placed on the abutment, its fit and occlusion will be checked, and it will be finally cemented.
Appointment 7:
Post-Treatment Follow-up
After the crown placement, a follow-up period of approximately 2 days is recommended to ensure the proper functioning of the crown.
To ensure a smooth and successful procedure, it is highly advised to adhere to the comprehensive appointment plan outlined above.
